Senior Spirit Career Fair (Sponsor - ASmartPlace.com)
8:30 AM to 1:30 PM
First Baptist Church of Huntsville - Entrance #7 600 Governors Dr SW Huntsville
The Huntsville/Madison County Chamber is collaborating with Huntsville City Schools, Madison City Schools, Madison County Schools, community agencies, and local employers to provide career opportunities for graduating high school seniors who have not enrolled in a 2- or 4-year college or university, nor made firm post-graduation plans.
The Senior Sprint Career Fair will create a bridge from high school to the workforce and provide graduates with several career and training opportunities. For many students, the absence of knowledge prevents them from making firm future-based decisions. This fair seeks to raise awareness of careers for graduating seniors across all three school districts in Madison County and aim them toward a fruitful future.
Volunteer Meeting Facilitator Doug Brazier emphasizes Networking as an essential function of a Job Search to members at a club meeting.

ExperiencePlus Group - a group focusing on job search issues for those experiencing age discrimination.
These groups meet weekly at 2 PM after the normal Club meeting for about an hour
Alabama Career Centers
