St. Joseph The Worker Job Networking Club (now celebrating our Fifteenth Year) is a Non-denominational and Free job networking club dedicated to assisting unemployed or under-employed job seekers find appropriate job positions.
The Club was founded by volunteers in 2009 and has had over 6000 participants since then. There is absolutely no cost to join or participate in the Job Networking Club since it is managed and staffed by volunteers. Volunteers are experienced Business Coaches, Mentors, Managers, and Business Owners.
Club Meetings are held normally each Tuesday from 12:30 to 2:00 PM Central Time at St John's Catholic Church 1055 Hughes Road Madison, AL with from 10 to 60 members attending. See our Calendar Page for upcoming Club Meetings and Local Job Fairs.
Additions to the Club are the formation of two groups known as:
"ExperiencePlus" - a group dedicated to focusing on job search issues such as age discrimination; the practice of networking and elevator speeches; and
"Job Search Essentials" - a group focused on those in need of focused help from a volunteer mentor to enter, or re-enter the workforce, or kick start a stalled job search.
