St Joseph the Worker Job Networking Club was founded, and is operated by volunteers who want to assist all those seeking employment in the North Alabama area. By volunteering their experiences, skills, and time, the volunteers make the Job Networking Club a valuable asset to job seekers experiences during a very trying time.
Club Volunteers perform a variety of duties, such as:
The Job Networking Club encourages members to volunteer in any and all of the above activities, and we are in constant need of additional volunteers.
If you think you can add your experiences or skills that you gained in the workforce – come join us in a rewarding atmosphere of assisting those in need, and gain the satisfaction of hearing someone enthusiastically announce “I Got a Job!”

- Weekly Meeting Facilitator
- Google Group Manager
- Web Site Manager
- Presenting weekly topics of interest to job seekers
- Reviewing Resumes
- Conducting Mock Interviews
- Venue Set Up & Refreshment Coordination
- Guest Speaker Coordinator
- Audio Visual Technical Support
- Club Archivist
- Club Librarian
- Resume Book Manager
- And most importantly – our job search researcher, seeker of speakers, jack of all trades in coaching and HR, and our club founder.
